Mission & Vision
Our purpose and long-term direction
Mission
To empower businesses and communities through digital innovation and meaningful EU-funded projects that invest in the next generation.
At eXceed, we exist to solve two problems:
-
Businesses in Central Europe need better digital presence. Many SMEs and organizations are underserved when it comes to modern, high-quality web design, branding, and digital marketing. We close that gap with affordable, premium digital services.
-
Young people need more access to EU opportunities. Despite the wealth of programs available through Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps, and other EU instruments, many young people in Slovakia and the region never get the chance to participate — often because no one writes the proposals or organizes the projects locally.
We tackle both through one organization, one team, and one shared commitment to quality.
Vision
Where We're Headed
By 2028, we aim to be:
- A recognized digital agency in Central Europe serving clients across Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, and beyond
- One of Slovakia's most active NGOs in the EU youth and education space, with multiple successfully delivered Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects
- A bridge between the digital and social sectors, proving that commercial expertise and social impact are not mutually exclusive
The Bigger Picture
We see a future where:
| Area | Today | Our Vision |
|---|---|---|
| Digital services in Slovakia | Fragmented, often low-quality or overpriced | Accessible, premium digital services for every business that needs them |
| EU project participation | Low awareness, few active organizations in the region | A thriving ecosystem of youth exchanges, training programs, and cross-border projects |
| Youth opportunities | Limited to those who already know the system | Open and visible to any young person willing to participate |
| Agency + NGO model | Rare, usually separate entities | A proven dual model where commercial and social work reinforce each other |
Mission in Practice
Our mission isn't just a statement — it shapes how we operate day to day.
For the Agency
- We prioritize long-term partnerships over one-off projects. We want our clients to grow, not just launch.
- We educate our clients on digital best practices, not just deliver and disappear.
- We keep pricing fair — premium quality doesn't have to mean premium pricing, especially for local businesses and startups.
- We use modern tools and frameworks because our clients deserve the same technology as big-budget brands.
For the NGO
- We write proposals that actually get funded — we invest in understanding what the EU wants to fund and we craft proposals that align.
- We put participants first — every youth exchange, training, or workshop is designed around the people who attend, not the paperwork.
- We build lasting partnerships — we don't just find partner organizations for one project, we build relationships for many.
- We document and share — project results, best practices, and lessons learned go back into this knowledge hub so others can benefit.
Guiding Principles Behind the Mission
These aren't our formal "values" (those are on the Values page), but the deeper convictions that drive our mission:
Digital is not optional
Every business, organization, and project needs a digital presence. It's not a luxury — it's infrastructure. We make that infrastructure accessible.
Youth deserve real opportunities
Not internships that go nowhere. Not workshops that check a box. Real cross-border experiences, real skills, real connections. That's what EU programs can provide when done right.
Small teams can have outsized impact
We don't need to be 50 people to make a difference. A small, skilled, motivated team that works smart can outperform agencies ten times its size — and can write, win, and deliver EU projects that change lives.
Knowledge should be shared
This entire knowledge hub exists because we believe in transparency and shared learning. What we know, we document. What we learn, we pass on.
Roadmap
A high-level look at how we plan to realize the vision:
Phase 1 — Foundation (Current)
- Establish the agency's core service offering and client base
- Register the NGO and build the founding team
- Submit first Erasmus+ and EU project proposals
- Build this knowledge hub as the team's operational backbone
Phase 2 — Growth
- Expand the client portfolio across Central Europe
- Deliver first funded EU projects successfully
- Grow the team to 8-12 people across both arms
- Build a network of 10+ EU partner organizations
Phase 3 — Scale
- Become a go-to digital agency for SMEs in the region
- Run multiple EU projects per year across different program lines
- Launch a mentorship program for young people interested in digital careers and EU project work
- Open-source parts of our knowledge hub and project templates for other organizations
Phase 4 — Impact
- Establish a youth digital skills academy combining agency expertise and EU funding
- Expand NGO activities beyond Erasmus+ into other EU funding instruments (Horizon, Creative Europe, etc.)
- Become a model for the agency + NGO dual structure, helping others replicate it
